Musician Lemond “Mr. Imag” Brown majored in architectural engineering at Drexel University, and he put his skills to use as soon as he graduated.
“When I came back to my hometown, D.C., I saw the gaps where they were talking about a lot of students who look like me that were doing bad in math and science specifically,” Brown said.
In 2012, he created what is now known as the Swaliga Foundation.
